The Education Department was established as a major setting for religious education in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It exists to teach and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to our children and youth.

To honor this original purpose, the Education Department works with the objective to educate, win, hold, and train for Jesus Christ, balanced youth, men and women, boys and girls, throughout the world. The Department provides educational guidelines, designs material for programming education at all levels, offers training and resources to teachers and students, and cooperates with all the other departments of the church in the promotion and support for our world mission.

Mission Statement: Adventist education prepares people for useful and joy-filled lives, fostering friendships with God, whole-person development, Bible-based values, and selfless service in accordance with the Seventh-day Adventist mission to the world.
