The Quezon City Area Council officers of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, representing the members , paid courtesy call on new Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista at his office, conveying their warm congratulation to the head of the largest and the richest city in the Central Luzon Conference (CLC) territory and the whole archipelago, last August 2.

"Suffer the little children to come unto me. . ." The significance of this verse that was uttered by the Savior was reemphasized at the "Hope in Times of Crises" crusade held at Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City, on May 3-15, 2009. Children from different corners of the city were in attendance during this nightly crusade held at the Grand Ballroom of the hotel.

A young pastor showed high potential on becoming the Central Luzon Conference's (CLC) televangelist when he spoke at the Year-round Evangelism (YrE) 2009 cycle 4 on August 14-27.

Isagani Valencia, 30, centered his evangelistic series on the Tagalog theme, "AngTangingPag-asa" which could be translated into English as "The Special Hope."

The Casiguran Adventist Church (CAC) held a family camping on November 28-30, 2009 at Sitio Gumacas, Brgy. Cozo, Casiguran, Aurora, with the theme, "Home Builders: Enhancing Relationship with Spouse and Children."

Elders and leaders of CAC initiated this camping that was participated by three churches-Casiguran, Bianoan and Gumacas. The family camping aimed at improving the bonding of each member of the family as well as relationship with church members.
