ADRA, ACS mobilize volunteers for relief operation

While the number of casualties from Typhoon Ondoy is climbing, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency(ADRA) and the Adventist Community Services (ACS) of Central Luzon Conference (CLC) join hands with the Southern Asia Pacific Region (SSD) in relieving the basic needs of  thousands of families since Tuesday, September 28.

CCC Antipolo Chapter In Action

The Christian Couple Circle (CCC) Antipolo Chapter in Rizal 5 District under the leadership of Joey De Ocampo conducted a grand Renewal of Marriage Vows officiated by Pastor Jose Zabat, Jr., CLC Family Life Ministries director together with his wife Mary Jane last April 5 at Sienna Catering Hall, Antipolo City at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

ACS University Hills Chapter Adopts Its Own Barangay

The Adventist Community Services (ACS) University Hills Chapter adopted Barangay Potrero, Malabon City as the recipient of its one year weekly services that commenced on July 25, 2009.

To facilitate this partnership between the Seventh-day Adventist Church and Barangay Potrero, both parties agreed to conduct a signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which was held on July 20 at Barangay Hall, Pinagtipunan Circle, Potrero, Malabon City.

The Deaf Hear Secrets of Living Longer

Twenty four (24) hearing impaired regular employees heard the secrets of living longer on July 23 at OB Varona Enterprises, 2nd floor, 2008 Leveriza St., Pasay City.

The Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) of Philippines Postal Corporation (PPC) under Oscar V. Lazo, CMEC director and Hector R.R. Villanueva, PPC Postmaster general tied up with David Varona, NeedHealth Ministries president, to teach the hearing impaired employees about health during the 31th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week from July 17-23, 2009.

CLC equips, organizes Editors and Writers

Aiming to equip and organize the Editors and Writers at Central Luzon Conference, the Communication Department held an Organizational Seminar and Workshop (Advanced) on July 2 at Philippine Publishing House, Baesa, Caloocan City. This was a part of the CLC progressive communication certification for pastors, writers, editors, communication leaders and other communication enthusiasts.
