"A child's glory is his father." Proverbs 17:6b (TLB)

There are many ways to measure success; not the least of which is the way your child describes you when talking to a friend.

The camp meeting aimed at preparing the brethren of Area one and 11 for the second coming of Jesus Christ and reminiscing the pioneer's way of doing a camp meeting.

Moreover, the camp meeting offered instructional in different departments such as Health, Adventist Community Services, Family, Lay Activities, Publishing, Stewardship and Youth discussed by Pastor Richard Mendoza (Health director), Pastor Jose V. Zabat (Family / ACS director) , Pastor Honesto Mercado (SS / Personal director) , Pastor Guevarra, Pastor Diosdado Fofue (Ministerial secretary) and Pastor Jesse Acosta (Youth director) respectively.

Likewise, 11 souls decided to accept Christ as their personal Savior by way of baptism, after the second service with Pastor Mercado as the officiating minister.

"Masaya po ako dahil nabinyagan po ako bilang isang Adventista. Tunay na napakasarap sa pakiramdam na mamuhay kay Kristo at sumunod sa Kanya. Sana mas marami pang kaluluwa ang maidala't mapalapit sa paanan Niya," said Ruby Joy Lorenzo of Doungan Church.

This event did not only prepare the brethren for the second coming but it also brought spiritual healing to them as well as developed the relationship with God.

"I am happy that I've been part of this family camp meeting. I became closer to God and learned so many things. I hope that the newly baptized member will be nurtured by the leaders of the church they belong and help them grow in their faith," stated Mr. Alex Rosales of Cabanatuan Church in an interview.
