There are many ways to measure success; not the least of which is the way your child describes you when talking to a friend.

Ready to Run. Kapampangan Adventists ready to run the five-kilometer lane at Clark Parade Ground last December 12. "Run for the Youth" successfully raised funds for youth associations in Area 3.

Organized by the Adventist Young Professionals (AYP) of Angeles Seventh-day Adventist Church in cooperation with Area 3 Youth Federation (YF) and Clark Development Corporation (CDC), the program targeted to raise funds for the youth association in the area. The objective was met when the organizers handed amounts to the presidents or official representative of different youth associations from North Pampanga 1, North Pampanga 2, Central Pampanga 1, Central Pampanga 2, South Pampanga, South Tarlac, and North Tarlac.

In this event, which also serves as the year-end program for the youth, Eric Pinpin, tourism coordinator for CDC, welcome all the participants. Pinpin has familiarity with the Adventist Church as he graduated at Angeles Adventist Elementary School (AAES).

The guest of honor, Chief Executive Officer Teddy Rivera of Botika ng Bayan, did not make it for unconfirmed reason.

Meanwhile, the event was opened to non-Adventist participants.

"We have opened the fun run to non-members to foster friendships with them," said Angeles church intern Reylourd Reyes who was one of the organizers.
In the end, the Angeles delegation bested the event as its delegates Danilo Disyerto, Reynaldo Romero, and Reynaldo Mondares bagged the first, second and third places, respectively.

The five consolations price winners were Joseph Bermeo of Haduan Church, Limuel Samia of Florida Church, Sonny Delubyo of Angeles Church, Ronald Gonato of Lazatin Church, and Nestor Gapuz of Angeles Church.
