To All Brethren & Friends
USA, Canada, & Other Countries
Dear Brethren & Friends:
Warm Christian greetings from Central Luzon Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The Central Luzon Conference (CLC) believes that you hold dearly the Philippines as your home and the millions of Filipinos are your blood siblings. For sure, you have heard or watched on the television what have happened due to tropical storm "Ondoy" (international code name: Ketsana). Many places are flooded even above-head. Two hundred forty six (246) people are confirmed dead, 37 are reported missing, and 247,555 families suffer either lacking or totally without food, clothing and shelter.
Cameraman: Demuel Gambol
Notwithstanding the anguish that the enemy of all good weave through this event, the Adventist community in the Philippines refuse to believe that there is no hope. There is much hope because God's people can do much to represent Him and be channels of alleviating pain and suffering. The Central Luzon Conference is glad as it stands true to this essence with God and you who are blessed with big helping heart and hands. The CLC would be glad with any aid you can give. But for the immediate needs to attend to, we would suggest that you transmit any amount to our bank accounts below.
